FASS training aims to equip practitioners and frontline workers with the specific knowledge and skills required to help service users who present with alcohol and mental health concerns.
Our current training provision includes the following courses
- Alcohol Screening and Brief Interventions. A Health Scotland course for GPs, Primary Care nurses and frontline workers of all services
- Scottish Mental Health First Aid. A Health Scotland course for frontline workers of all services
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). An interactive workshop in suicide first aid.
- Alcohol Awareness. An educational course for employers, statutory and non-statutory services
We are also available for talks and presentations on a range of alcohol, drugs and social isolation issues.
